Rafa at 3yo can sleep by himself for his afternoon nap. It’s a different story when I’m around. He still wants his milk.

Sam trying to avoid afternoon nap: Mom I’m not sleepy, I’m energetic!

While playing minecraft, 6 yo Sam says to me, “Look mom, I’m freaking awesome!”

And now he tells me that what he created is, “Insane!”

Ate Bay lay down on the bed with Rafa for afternoon nap. After a few minutes, she fell asleep and then heard someone noisy —
Bay to Rafa: What are you doing?
Rafa: …name of the Father, Son, & Holy Spirit. Amen. Good night, Jesus.
Bay: Are you finished? Go to sleep.

Sam is invited to a birthday party that will unfortunately overlap with an earlier activity. He is worried he won’t see the cake. ‪#‎6yoproblems‬

Sam gave me a hug, said he loved me. Went to hia brother, gave him a kiss and went for breakfast.

During our afternoon walk yesterday, I saw Sam stop beside a small kid on a strider. I though he was bothering the kid so I called out to him. Turned out, he was helping the kid wear his shoe which has fallen off.

Our nanny arrived after a short vacation. When she arrived, Sam ran to me, jumped up and down and shouted, “Good news mom! Ate Bay is here!” Next thing I know, he was writing a note to Ate Bay, “I miss you. I love you.”
